Baked Queso Fundido Dip with Zea Mays Corn Chips

Ingredients

  • 200 g (7 oz) Zea Mays artisan corn chips

  • 200 g (7 oz) Oaxaca cheese (or mozzarella)

  • 100 g (3.5 oz) manchego cheese, shredded

  • 100 g (3.5 oz) Mexican chorizo, cooked and crumbled

  • 2 tbsp cream

  • 1 tbsp jalapeños, sliced


Instructions

1. Preheat oven:
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).

2. Prepare cheese mix:
In a baking dish, combine cheeses, cream, and cooked chorizo. Mix gently.

3. Bake:
Bake for 8–10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

4. Finish:
Top with sliced jalapeños.

5. Serve:
Serve hot with Zea Mays corn chips for dipping.


💡 Zea Mays Tip: Serve this dip in a cast-iron skillet to keep it warm longer and create a rustic, artisanal presentation.
