Returns & Refunds Policy

At Zea Mays Foods, we take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our tostadas and totopos. Because our products are food items, returns are limited for food safety and quality reasons.

1. General Return Window

Return requests are accepted within 14 days of delivery only for eligible products that are unopened, unused, sealed, and in their original packaging. Opened packages, partially consumed products, products with compromised packaging, or products that have been handled after delivery cannot be returned.

2. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you purchased, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Include your order number, a clear photo of the product, a photo of the packaging, and a short description of the issue.

After reviewing the information, we may offer a replacement, refund, or store credit depending on the situation and product availability.

3. Missing Deliveries

If your package is marked as delivered but you have not received it, please first check the delivery address, building reception, neighbors, and the carrier tracking details. If the package cannot be located after 3 business days, contact us at raul@zeamaysmexico.com.mx and we will help review the case.

4. Return Shipping

For eligible returns that are not caused by damage, defect, or an incorrect item, the customer is responsible for return shipping. We do not charge a restocking fee.

5. Order Changes or Cancellations

If you need to correct an address, quantity, or order detail, contact us as soon as possible. We can only make changes before an order has been prepared for fulfillment or handed to the shipping carrier.

6. Refund Timing

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider and the customer's bank.

7. Wholesale Returns

For wholesale partners, return, credit, and damaged-goods procedures are handled according to the applicable distributor or wholesale agreement.
