Shipping & Fulfillment Policy

Zea Mays ships Mexico orders through checkout. International orders are handled by direct quote while we finalize carrier account, food-import paperwork, and the safest fulfillment route for shelf-stable packaged food.

1. Mexico checkout shipping

Orders within Mexico may be placed through Shopify checkout. Standard domestic delivery is estimated at 3 to 5 business days for most cities after order preparation. Remote zones may take longer depending on carrier coverage.

Mexico shipping is free from 5 bags. Smaller orders use the shipping options shown at checkout.

2. United States and international orders

U.S., Canada, UK, Spain, sample, wholesale, and case-pack orders are quote-only for now. We do not currently promise automatic international checkout rates, free international shipping, or fixed international delivery windows.

For international food shipments, we confirm the carrier route, commercial invoice, and any required import paperwork before dispatch. Once the label is issued, we send tracking.

3. Processing and tracking

Every order is hand-packed in Xalapa, Veracruz. You will receive tracking by email after the carrier accepts the package. Do not consider an order shipped until tracking has been issued.

4. Customs and food-import paperwork

All products are crafted in Mexico. International shipments may require a commercial invoice, customs classification, and food-import documentation. Any duties, taxes, brokerage charges, or paperwork requirements are confirmed during the quote process.

5. Damaged or delayed shipments

If your package arrives damaged or does not arrive within the expected window shown in tracking, contact us at raul@zeamaysmexico.com.mx with your order number, carrier tracking, and photos when applicable. We will review the case and help with replacement, refund, or carrier claim options.

6. Wholesale and samples

Wholesale, distributor, press, chef, and sample requests are quoted directly. Include destination, quantity, requested timeline, and whether the shipment is for retail, press, or distribution review.
